APPRAISALS
Initial Appraisal/Inventory...Appraisals and/or Inventories as required by Attorneys, Courts, Guardians,Trustees, Executors and Estate Administrators are available for most all personal property.
We utilize the services of experts in their fields to provide current values of collections, antiques and unique vehicles.
ESTATE SALES
Estate Sales..on-premise Estate Sales are conducted often around the Las Vegas area. We pride ourselves on being precise and organized at these sales and have plenty of qualified help at all times. Customers enjoy these sales tremendously, as we ask realistic prices and they know we are fair and honest in our estate offerings. We have a continually-building Mailing List of nearly 2000 names who wait excitedly for their sale notices to appear in their emails.
AFTER THE SALE
After the weekend of the Sale, the balance of left over items can be consigned to an auction or donated to a charity of the Beneficiaries' choosing. However, there usually aren't many items left, as we strive to sell most all the items during the weekend of the sale and actively work with customers to effect the maximum sales possible.
Beneficiaries who wish to retain some items have the option of our assistance in getting the items professionally packed and shipped by local companies who specialize in these services.
CONSIGNMENTS
At times we may consign specific items to our sales to provide a way to liquidate those items for Estates having less than a complete household or for those located in an apartment/condo setting which precludes having an
on-premise sale.
DISCOVERIES
Upon discovering items in an Estate that may have a high value, we will locate venues such as Galleries and Quality Auction Houses catering to high-dollar collectors, etc. to consign those items on behalf of the Estate to effectively generate maximum proceeds for the Estate.
COSTS
Costs, fees..commissions vary by value of the Estate and projected labor to clear, sort and arrange the items for sale. Commissions and costs are deducted from gross proceeds of the sale at the time of settlement.
REAL ESTATE
Real Property..Liz and Fran are licensed Realtors since mid-to-late 1980's and have been with Desert Realty since the beginning of their careers. Liz works with Sellers in the listings of the properties and Fran is a Buyers Agent. We usually hold an Open House in conjunciton with the Estate Sale and many times have actually sold the home during the weekend of the sale. Liz specializes in the listing of Trust, Probate and Guardianship properties and also works with some smaller commercial and multi-unit apartment buildings.
